Website Small Business Grants

Website Small Business Grants

If you’re a small company with less than 10 employees and trading for more than 12 months, you might be entitled to a website small business grant.

Irish consumers spend €850,000 per hour online, 24 hours a day but amazingly,  just 23% of small Irish companies own an eCommerce website. This lack of online presence in Irish companies, leads into 70% of the online Irish spend going overseas. Irish companies who do not trade online are really missing opportunities.

To encourage more small Irish companies to trade online the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources (DCENR) is funding, on behalf of the government, website small business grants through The Online Voucher Scheme initiative. It is an initiative of the National Digital Strategy and it is administrated by the Local Enterprise Offices.

Below see the Official launch video of the National Digital Strategy.

A survey of over 800 companies who already participated in the small business grant, Trading Online Voucher Scheme, found that they increased sales by 21% and leads by 84%, and that the process helped them in business strategic planning.

The Web Centre, as an experienced full service Digital Agency with more than 18 years knowledge in web development, can assist start-ups creating their total online presence, from the creation of their logo to  increasing their conversion rates, thanks to an Adwords campaign.  We offer web design and development, graphic design and digital services. So as soon as you get your website small business grant do not hesitate contacting us.
